Luxury Modern Kitchen

by Colleen McClure Designs

Clients came to us to find a way to bring style to their kitchen which felt dated and didn’t match with the rest of the house now that it was painted, and new furniture had been purchased. The goal was to keep the original cheery wood flooring. Therefore, we kept the layout of the kitchen as it was with three different working areas. One island was for clean up. A second island was for preparation and the main wall counters were for storage and cooking. There was also an additional desk unit off to the side. The wood grain and white cabinets allowed the kitchen to have a modern organic feel.  Keeping the little island all white introduced dimension and space between all the wood lower cabinets. The use of the white quartz stone for a backsplash to the upper cabinets and a water-fall counter top off one end of the large island, connected the feel of modern everywhere for this client!
