This older English style character home that had individual rooms with doors separating all functions needed opened up. It was small. The office was in the dining room, the sunroom had a kitchen table, the kitchen had no working counter space. The investment was to remove a wall and open up the kitchen with an island they thought they could never have and bring it to a informal eating space. In order to create a new layout we had to close off one of the doorway openings in and out of the kitchen and remove a wall.
